This year’s season of The Block promises to be the biggest and best season yet. Kicking off on August 7, five teams of “city slickers” are dropped in country Victoria for a tree change as they transform rolling paddocks into picture-perfect properties.

They’ll be carving out their own piece of paradise in the breathtaking landscapes of the Macedon Ranges in Central Victoria. Located about 45-minutes drive from Melbourne’s centre, this is the perfect place for those looking for a change in scenery.

Meet The Teams

The five teams taking on this epic challenge are Tom and Sarah-Jane, Joel and Elle, Ankur and Sharon, Dylan and Jenny, and Omar and Oz. Working on an expansive space never seen before in The Block, these five teams are saddling up for a bumpy ride.

On top of the usual team renovations, host Scotty Cam will also be renovating his own house for the first time ever in The Block’s history. Scotty’s house will serve as inspiration for the teams, as well as a meeting hub during the show.

Biggest Homes Ever

The Block just got bigger. This year, teams will be renovating 500 square-metre houses on massive 10 acres of land.
